Securing Access at Target’s Shafter Distribution Center

Target’s distribution center in Shafter, California required a secure and organized solution for controlling pedestrian access within its high traffic facility. We installed multiple full height turnstiles and pedestrian security gates to create clearly defined entry and exit points while supporting the day to day movement of employees throughout the distribution center.

The Goal

The goal was to strengthen access control at the distribution center while maintaining an efficient flow of employees through the facility. With a large workforce moving through the building, Target needed a durable physical security solution that could help prevent unauthorized access while keeping authorized personnel moving efficiently.

Our Solution

We installed multiple full height turnstiles alongside secure pedestrian gates to create a comprehensive access point for the distribution center. The full height turnstiles provide a strong physical barrier and dedicated lanes for controlled pedestrian traffic, while the adjacent gates provide additional access when needed. The finished installation gives Target a durable, organized solution designed to support both facility security and the demands of a busy distribution environment.
